Biography:
Ben returns this year in Come On, Jeeves as the hapless Lord Towcester. Aided by Jeeves as his Gentleman’s Personal Gentleman, Ben will have to pacify the aggrieved Sahib Biggar, and attempt to sell his rotting ancestral home to Mrs Spottsworth. Last year he starred in Rough Crossing as Dvornichek, the apparently incompetent steward who ultimately proved to be the lynch-pin of the whole play. In 2004 he danced from foot to foot throughout every performance of All’s Well That Ends As You Like It in his interpretation of Testiculo, the stock Shakespearean clown. His extensive abilities as a comic actor are reflected in the comedy he lives every day of the year.
Ben lists his interests as being High Fives, Happy Meals, biscuits and music. In 2005 he went travelling, with Alice Robinson. They spent three months working in a school in northern Thailand as part of a project co-ordinated by face‑faw, before travelling through India and Nepal. He is currently at Edinburgh University, reading Theology.
